-Birds use mating calls and certain chirps to communicate to other birds. -Monkeys make noises and use body movements to indicate what they want or trying to get. -Dogs bark, whimper, or indicate what they want by sitting by the place that they want to go or by the door if they need to go outside. -Whales communicate through sounds underwater. -Animals brains are smaller so they don’t have the development for speech. -Humans use language as in words but, for animals it’s more gestures and sounds. Language separates us because we have languages that can help us if we are in a dangerous situation, in need of something, or trying to talk to one another. We are more developed and there are over one hundred languages that humans can speak so that sets us apart.
